Santa Clara Place is located in the desirable Santa Clara area of north Eugene. The site is located in close proximity to public transportation, medical services, shopping, and other services. It consists of 60 units of affordable housing designed to meet the needs of a diverse population. The 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units are suitable for families, seniors, and disabled persons. Rents are affordable for persons at or below 50% of area median income. The site is designed for optimal density while encouraging community interaction. Site amenities include a community room, computer room, an on-site Resident Services Coordinator, and play areas.
This project exceeds the Earth Advantage program requirements for sustainable design and energy efficiency. These features include: solar water heating systems, grasspave to reduce impervious surface, low toxicity laminate flooring, and optimized site density. Another key feature of this project is its location, with close, walkable proximity to transportation and a variety of shopping and other services.
